Further to a full redesign and structural work, we knew that getting the maximum storage into this space without it feeling cramped was key.
A peninsular was added which housed the double stainless steel sink and dish washer. Having this area as the 'prep' area freed up a lot of other cupboard space around the perimeter for drawers and storage.
To make this space family friendly we incorporated a large Walnut L shaped bench seat which can seat up to 10 people comfortably. The client now had a beautiful place to sit whilst dining/ relaxing/ having a cup of tea and to watch the views beyond.
During the design phase, an integral aspect was to make this Kitchen feel bigger than it really was. With a few cleverly placed lighting features - Plinth lighting, Pelmet lighting and Feature ceiling lighting we managed to lift the ceiling and elongate the room.
During the brief it was clear that the client wanted a full, turn-key package and the appliances were of a particular importance to them. We incorporated a number of MIELE's highest spec products including a double width oven, their beautiful coffee machine and their pop-up electrical sockets. Added to the design, was a coloured glass splash back and a high polished black granite work-top, walnut accents, two-tone shaker cabinetry and brushed stainless steel taps and accessories. This made for a contemporary twist with minimalist hues on a classic style.
The high polished granite work top is highly reflective with a double bevelled edge. Reflecting views from outside and the wonderfully elegant tap.
Further through the home is a complete Master Suite with Bedroom, Bathroom and Walk in wardrobe. All designed and installed to the clients needs.
A super luxurious sitting room with curved sofas to optimize the amount of people that could comfortably use the space.
This project is particularly special to us as it combined bespoke elements with our bespoke furniture range Coleccion Alexandra
