Joy and Brian's Orangery above, is a classic example. They had plans already drawn up by a local Architect, of a typical conservatory extension, which had windows all the way round, the main aspect being their garage! What we achieved was to turn the proposed design on its head and have only one elevation with full height folding glazed patio doors to overlook their beautiful landscaped grounds. This creative consideration allowed the extension to become a really integrated part of the home, allowing a wonderful limestone fireplace with massive overmantel, also a full wall, which when viewed upon entering the room allows impressive statement pieces to create that 'wow'. Our artist impressions as shown above, gave them the 'feel' of our proposal, which they loved and gave them confidence to commit to the project.

Classic or contemporary, conservatories or extensions are used to increase living space, and today we find more clients wanting to 'stay put' with the home, rather than move, and get back to the essence of the property that wooed them to purchase in the first place. Extensions can be; extending the space to the sides or rear of the property to increase the living areas, and it is at this stage that we love to get involved, to be able to take a look at the entire floor plan and see if we can reconfigure the existing spaces, to allow the rooms to flow and create really exciting space.
