Our MOVE MANAGEMENT PACKAGE is quite unique, a superb solution for clients anticipating a move to a new home.

Whether down-sizing, upscaling or furnishing a home abroad, we can work with you to plan the furniture and furnishings to be retained and plan those pieces into the new home and then design an interior scheme to complement the existing pieces as well as creating a new look.

This is a project we are working on, the clients moving from a large country home to a smaller property for ease of maintenance. We have even worked on a conservatory extension for them.

Consultation
Stage 1:

Following a detailed discussion we discuss what pieces of furniture, soft-furnishings, 'objects' artwork, etc are to be taken to the new home, but more importantly - will they fit in?

We discuss the new 'look' that is to be created in the new home, working with the furniture, and bringing in fresh ideas that work alongside.

Survey
Stage 2:

The first thing we do is photographically catalogue the entire contents of the existing home. We then produce a large numbered catalogue of images room by room for the client to ponder over and then indicate - yes, no, or maybe. Once it has been decided what pieces are going to the new home, we then produce a final catalogue and visit the property again to take full measurements of each piece.

Survey

We then visit the new property and carry out a measured survey which allows us to plan in detail the pieces that will hopefully be coming to the new home. This also allows the client to take realistic decisions as to what will fit in and be able to plan the disposal of surplus items prior to packing. Imagine the logistics when scaling down, when often external storage provision is limited, and being ill prepared you are inundated with furniture and no where to put it!
4.
Schedules
Stage 4:
We are now able to produce schedules and plans of each room and specifications of items for re-upholstery, new furnishings and furniture and any specification of works to be carried such as decoration and any hard furnishings required.

The detailed catalogues and schedules allows the packers to label - going from / going to which assists greatly in a painless move.
