This beautiful kitchen was
designed as part of a scheme for an
Orangery extension for clients in Teeside. They had already
drawn up a set of plans by a local
Architect. Following our
review David saw straight away that revisions to the proposal
by reducing the number of windows, allowed for the siting
of superb full-height fireplace in limestone, which was the
starting point for the choice of colours for this beautiful
kitchen.
The clients loved the Elica Star crystal extractor which is the
focal point of the room, sited immediately over the Neff
induction hob. A small round white Kohler sink, and
Carron Pheonix elegant chrome tap sit superbly on the
cream Silestone feature worktop of the impressive large
centre island which looks spectacular at night when the
plinth lights and glow from the crystal ball create a
wonderful ambiance.
The bespoke fitments are hand-painted in rich cream
against the Dulux Egyptian Cotton walls.
The wonderful curved pilasters in rich walnut work
superbly with the feature draw fronts and pewter handles.
We wanted to create pockets of freestanding furniture,
as can be seen with the Appliance Run which houses all
Neff appliances: Coffee Machine, Warming Drawer,
Steam Oven, Combination Microwave and Multi-function
oven.
