We have created what has been described as "sensational, a timeless, elegant and truly beautiful showcase of an elegant Sitting Room leading into
the ultimate Kitchen area" - 25 Beautiful Kitchens Magazine. What we wanted to create was the ultimate setting, of how everyone wants to live
today, opening up rooms that flow seamlessly with the rest of the house and the period of the building, yet allowing the sophistication and
elegance to shine in the walnut curved island with hand-painted mauve units and appliance fitments and the deep purple Butler's Pantry
form a key part of David Long Designs exclusive collection of kitchen furniture.
David mixed the colours from the Sahco fabrics in the Sitting Room and found the exact
match for the leather of the Joseph Giles handles and knobs for the Butler's Pantry.
Cast glass was used for the display sections and wall cupboards echoing the curves,
which are also found in the round sink in the island, which is a copy of a Chinese Bronze
vessel by Kohler. The kettleless kitchen is achieved by the Zip tap hot and chilled and filtered
water tap, Caesarstone worktops in heather coloured quartz is the perfect colour to work
with the mushroom colour of the sink units, which match the suede of the wall panels
of the plasma wall in the Sitting Room .
